Sikorsky Aircraft - Mass Properties Engineer (4)

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation currently has several openings for Mass Properties engineers in various facilities including West Palm Beach (FL), Huntsville (AL), Fort Worth (TX), and Stratford (CT).  Qualified candidates must have a BS - Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical) These positions require a minimum of 5 years experience in the Mass Properties discipline, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products.  The successful candidate will have experience in weight tracking and control, database maintenance techniques and should be familiar with SAWE RP 7 and 8.  Experience in the use of computer aided design tools (preferably CATIA) for mass properties analysis is also required.

Specific job functions include: Working in conjunction with other engineers to determine efficient, minimum weight design; computing mass properties (analytically and using computer software applications), aircraft weighing, preparing internal and customer status reports, mission center of gravity analysis, and determining mass distributions and inertia characteristics.
