AbstractEach aircraft has a definition of an approved Weight and Balance envelope during all phases of flight. The current used methodology derives non- optimal usage of resources. The Integrated Balance Management ("I.B.M.") suggests a new fashioned definition to the approved envelope for the basic aircraft, while taking into consideration other parameters that were not involved in the described indirect approach. The methodology suggested here defines optimal regimes in the aspects of maintenance, Performance and W&B, therefore asks for a unique intersection of each polygon in the W-CG diagram. The conceptual methodology suggested here is still under investigation. Nevertheless, the integration of the indirect approach into the I.B.M. polygon has its own promise to develop the same level of safety of flight, while reducing the maintenance costs, and increasing the specific range of the aircraft.
