Key Words26. WEIGHT GROWTH
AbstractMany readers will associate Weigh Growth only in connection with an aircraft. However in airline service there are other factors which have to be considered and these are also affected by Weight Growth. The author attempts to bring to the readers attention that these other factors namely, Passenger Weights, Baggage Weights, Removable Catering, Crew Weights all affect the Revenue Payload that can be carried. This paper highlights some of the reason for that growth. Graphs have been drawn showing the actual Weight Growth for various aircraft types operated by British Airways PLC.
