Abstract

Centaur G-Prime, a high-performance upper stage designed for use in the SpaceTransportation
System, presents unique mission requirements. Flight-proven methods and computer program
simulations developed for the Atlas and Titan Centaur Programs determine mass properties for
Shuttle/Centaur vehicles at launch, Centaur deployment, and Centaur/payload separation, including
Shuttle orbital an de-orbit sequences. Analytical aspects, user procedures and output data,
including database management, for this simulation are discussed.
