One such software management system is discussed, along with the necessary processors and data base, in an application to the minimum weight design of a 1000 foot tall, guyed tower.

References are made to the analysis codes, and the optimization work on a guyed tower is discussed; however, of equal importance is the illustration of the benefits of the data base and processor architecture as it affects the ease of data management and problem adaptability
