A recent proposal to design, develop and produce a missile using SI units is discussed in some detail. The decade of implementation progress has been principally due to the worldwide operations of Hughes International, in supplying and servicing products of all Hughes Divisions, including complete missile systems, manufactured and operated in many different countries throughout the world. The adoption of the SI units is progressing at an ever increasing pace. Future advances will depend largely upon industries and governments interested in international trade, joint use of military weapons, and worldwide logistics. From the vantage point of having participated in and directed the recent study, the authors discuss a truly dynamic situation in the changeover to SI units.</style>
<work-type><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">30.
