Academic Committee Members
The SAWE Academic Committee’s Charter is to:
- Renew our relationships with academic institutions and create a process for growing and maintaining new relationships.
- Create/update/revise guidelines for recruiting local student papers and choosing the host chapter scholarship winner
- Create a process for introducing our textbooks to academic institutions and/or developing new textbooks for or in conjunction with them.
- Explore ideas for fostering competitions or events in which students use engineering principles to create a product or complete a task.
