Abstract

In order to demonstrate the use of computers in this paper, the terminology of moments of inertia is first defined, and then a specific example is outlined. The need for moments of inertia is described, and sectioning a wing for moment of inertia calculation is demonstrated. Next, the application of this problem to high speed digital computer use is demonstrated. A completely automatic method of moment of inertia calculation was developed. Finally, a brief cost analysis is included.
