Abstract

This paper describes the mass properties balancing facility constructed in 1987 at Lockheed Missiles & Space Co. in Sunnyvale, California. The balancing machine is a Schenck-Trebel model E6/MOI-7. The capabilities and operational procedures of the machine are described. To speed up the determination of balance weights required, a program was written for a Macintosh SE computer.
