This document is intended to complement Class, ISO Standard and Regulatory requirements. It also contains suggested guidance to accomplish key activities.
Purpose
This document contains guidance for engineers, managers, weight control personnel and facility marine technical authorities, regarding actions needed to control the weight and center of gravity (CoG) of in-service facilities. It is important that the facility’s weight and CoG are continuously tracked to ensure that these values are acceptable at all times.
This document may be used for development of a weight tracking system on facilities that have undergone or are planned to undergo modification.
