To support our mission of transferring knowledge and skills to each other, SAWE hosts several technical forums each year in which a topic of interest is presented and discussed.  Forums are held online or in person at our annual conference. Typically, a panel of experts opens the forum with their thoughts on the topic, followed by an open discussion with all in attendance. Keep an eye out for an invitation to these popular events. SAWE Speed Mentoring Session

Meet the Mentors

To help you succeed in your career, the Society of Allied Weight Engineers is pleased to announce our first ever Speed Mentoring Session. This event will provide a chance for anyone who is curious about our Mentoring Program to briefly meet some of our highly experienced and respected Mentors in small groups to learn how they can potentially help with one-on-one technical or career advice. After a set amount of time, participants will be rotated to a new set of Mentees and Mentors where the mutual exchange of information will be repeated.  This will allow Mentees to interface with multiple Mentors and vice-versa. Following the event, for those who wish to proceed, our Mentoring Committee will set up mutually agreed upon formal mentoring relationships between Mentors and Mentees.

All participants, both Mentors and Mentees, must register for this event. Participation may be limited due to time and resource constraints, so it will be first come, first served. The SAWE will keep records of registrations, allowing additional sessions if necessary.
