Scope
This document applies to all SAWE Recommended Practices.
This document does not apply to SAWE publications, textbooks, or handbooks.
New documents shall comply with the requirements stated here. Exceptions may be taken only with the approval of the SAWE Vice President of Standards and Practices or the SRB. Older documents shall be converted to this formatting, to the extent possible as noted herein.
Purpose
This document is provided as instruction to users regarding the required content and formatting of SAWE Recommended Practices. It is intended to help authors properly and effectively use the form SAWE SnP-2 1, Recommended Practice Template. This document is organized in the same format as the template and may be used as an example.
