Abstract

This material was presented to the Members of the Society of Allied Weight Engineers in attendance at the airlines sessions of the 32nd Annual Conference in London, England. June 27, 1973.

The presentation briefly describes design characteristics and special features of the DC-10 Twin now being offered by the Douglas Aircraft Company to the airlines of the world.

Detailed descriptions of the balance characteristics are included with special emphasis on the derivation of the loading limits.

A copy of the instructions and sample forms for a loading system prepared for this aircraft are included.
