Weight Engineering - Procedures %X Aircraft structural weight optimization is considered with Durability and Damage tolerant constraints. Nature of solution space for investigating the durability and damage tolerance of minimum weight structure is discussed. Altair’s OptiStruct® finite element driven solver of Hyperworks® suite is used to provide a sound ground up optimization in several stages.
