Abstract
After some years of experience in building production platforms in the sea, it has become apparent to the Offshore Industry that lack of knowledge concerning the weight and centre of gravity of the topside facility has brought very costly problems.
With the pressing need to obviate these problems, a new concept in technology has emerged called Weight Control for Offshore Platforms.
